The Big Island of Hawaii has many beautiful locations for weddings and vow renewals. There are many more options that the examples listed below. If you have a special request for a ceremony location, please contact us.

Please note: No drones, accessories, structures, devices, amplified instruments, appliances, apparatus or equipment of any type whatsoever shall be placed on or within the right-of-entry area or premises, including but not limited to the following: arches; bowers; altars; tables; chairs; kahilis; tents and/or tarps; event signage of any type including banners, sandwich boards; kiosks or carts; stanchions, posts, ropes or similar equipment for the purpose of demarcation of the right-of-entry area; and surfboards, windsurf boards, kayaks or other ocean recreation equipment. You can contact us if you want to use anything decorative or if you have elderly guests that require seating.

The max amount of participants in a wedding or ceremony at Hawaii's public beaches is limited to a maximum of 30 people including all vendors (exeption is Kikaua Beach Park where the maximum is 20 people). Alcohol and smoking is also prohibited at Hawaii's beaches.

This is a sunny and calm beach, yet limited parking only available as it is located on the grounds of the hotel and permits are issued on a first come first serve basis

Hapuna Beach

Hapuna beach is nice large popular beach (next to the "Prince" Resort) with plenty of beach sections for a beautiful ceremony. Very popular at weekends! Perfect for early morning or sunset weddings and vow renewals. Holoholokai Beach Weddings |

Waialea Beach 
Waialea Bay aka "Beach 69"

Anaeho`omalu Beach Weddings | 
Anaehoomalu Bay aka "A Bay"

If you love amazing sunsets, Anaehoomalu Bay should be on top of your wedding ceremony location list. it is very popular beach for weddings and vow renewals on the Big Island. Kukio Beach Weddings | 
Kukio Beach

This beautiful white sandy beach is located within the "Four Seasons" resort area. You to check in at the guarded gate and get a permit for your car. Walk down the beautiful path past natural coastal ponds and other "Hawaiiana" to this lovely beach. Bathrooms, easy parking and a 100 yard walk lead you to your romantic beach wedding site. Kikaua Beach Weddings |
Kikaua Beach Point

Kikaua Park is a very popular location. This gated area offers sand, palm trees, grass, a view of Maui and Mauna Kea, and beautiful surf. Located only minutes north of the airport. Kua-Bay Weddings | 
Manini'owali Beach/ Kua Bay aka Secret Beach

With breathtaking 180 degree ocean views and numerous swaying palm trees, this perfect Big Island beach location has both a white sandy beach and a grassy area. Old Kona Airport Beach weddings |
Old Airport Beach Park

The "Old Airport Beach Park" is a beautiful three and a half mile long beach park and the closest  near Kona. Just a few minutes from Alii Drive use Kuakini Hwy North to the beach park entrance. Liliʻuokalani Park and Gardens is a 30-acre park with Japanese gardens, located on Banyan Drive in Hilo right at Hilo's coast overlooking the ocean on the island of Hawaiʻi and offers great settings for romantic weddings. Pictures are located HERE


Richardson's Beach Park - Hilo

Richardson's Beach Park is the Black Sand Beach closest to Hilo and very nice small location for a beautiful ceremony on the Hilo side of the Big Island. Pictures are located HERE

 Carlsmith Beach Park Hilo -
Carlsmith Beach Park - Hilo

This beautiful bay is known for its turtles in the shallow turquoise water close to shore with beautiful background settings for a wedding or vow renewal in Hilo. You can find some pictures HERE 

Punaluu Black Sand Beach (+$150)

Located on the southeastern Kau coast, Punaluu Black Sand Beach is one of the most famous black sand beaches in Hawaii. Located between Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the small town of Naalehu and this stretch of beach along the southern tip of the Big Island is one of the reasons you want to visit the Big Island of Hawaii, and it is absolutely gorgeous! It is about 90 miles south of Kona.

At Akaka Falls State Park, located along the northeastern Hamakua Coast, you can see two gorgeous waterfalls on one short hike. A special use permit is required and needs to be planed ahead ($75 fee). Pictures: HERE

 Kolekole Beach Park
Kole Kole Beach Park

Kolekole Beach Park is about 3 mi north of Akaka Falls, with an additional waterfall on the Kaʻahakini stream that drops directly from a small cliff into the main Kolekole Stream right at the ocean. A great park for ceremonies and larger gatherings. Pictures: HERE
